Game Report:
NSW Blues for the second time this weekend started the game on a strong lead which influenced the end result of the game.
They extended the lead to 14 to 7 after the first quarter.
The second quarter was similar to the first with the Blues defensive pressure and movement through the goal circle proving too strong for the Darters.
Blues went into the half time break holding a comfortable 18 � 23 lead. Defender, Samantha Poolman showed great persistence, intercepting the high balls from Darters tall shooter, Keely Rodrigo, which added extra pressure to the Darters attacking end.
The Darters managed to get within 2 goals in the third quarter thanks to mid-court attacker, Caitlyn Strachan ripping up the court. Darters coach Bronwyn Bock Jonathan made a number of changes in the centre court though the Blues kept strong control of the match and again increased the to 31 � 36 in the end of the third quarter.
The Darters never gave up throughout the whole game but Blues proved too strong running out 36 - 52 winners.
