David Wirrpanda Foundation is delivering the Deadly Sista Girlz - Netball Program on behalf of Netball Australia. Deadly Sista Girlz targets Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander girls aged between 12 and 17 who are disengaged from their schooling, or who have been identified by their school as being at-risk of disengaging. The girls will be mentored by strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander role models in life skills and personal development. They will receive expert netball coaching from high performance netball players.
Deadly Sista Girlz combines mentoring—a powerful tool for re-engaging at-risk students, with the participating girls’ love of netball. It’s a winning combination.
